The article provides basic aspects of utilisation of mechanisms to build an ethic approach to business in the Slovak environment. Specifying the code of conduct, willingness to punish its breach, upbringing, dialogue communication and exemplary behaviourof management will be concerned. Ethic conduct of a company leads to better relationships with customers, partners and employees and helps make goodwill of the company from the long time point of view. There are a lot of problems in the Slovak environment in this direction that can be solved just by pursuing ethics in business.
