This article deals with the measurement and assessment techniques of the voice transmitted over IP networks in secure and insecure environments by using different virtual testbeds and a real implementation based on OpenSer. We realized our platform, in order to understand how voice services in IP networks are affected by secure IP services. In the end, the results of our measurements performed in research network between universities in Milan and Ostrava are presented in this paper.
