The rOCCI Framework implements the OCCI (Open Cloud Computing Interface) Standard by OGF (the Open Grid Forum). It consists of libraries implementing the OCCI Class structure in the Ruby programming language, a command-line client, and a server-side component (the rOCCI-server), which provides for translation between OCCI messages and arbitrary interfaces of various proprietary cloud management frameworks. The rOCCI server has a modular architecture, relying on product specific backends to cover different cloud management frameworks, which makes its coverage readily extensible. rOCCI-server 2.0 implements the updated version of the standard OCCI 1.2. The rOCCI suite now also incorporates an authorization component -- the KeyStorm -- that issues Access Keys based on users' primary federation credentials.
