Restored Mlýnský potok is lokated on the right bank of the Lipno Reservoir near the borderwith Austria. Restoration was carried out in November 1998. The total lenght of the restored strearnbed was 1692 m. The results show the change in ichtyofauna afterrestoration. Creation of fish-passes and refuges and the decrease of longitudinal slope of the stream resulted in slower flow rate in some parts of the stream which enabled to establish of the Salmo trutta population. During the last two yaers also Cottus gobio was presented. Restoration positively influenced the presence of macrophytes. One year after the restoration the area covered by macrophytes increased from 1% to 30%. However, the restoration effect on vegetation growing along the stream banks was negligible. Also, the restoration has not affected to water chemistry.
