At the workshop, we discussed the status of the AdriaArray project and the research topics within the AdriaArray initiative. Plenary sessions focused on the geodynamic framework of the central Mediterranean, on methodical challenges, as well as on data access and data quality control. Breakout sessions were held on seismicity, body wave tomography, surface wave tomography, ambient noise studies, receiver function studies, shear-wave splitting, creating geodynamic test models, the Vrancea region and engineering seismology. Presentations were possible as talks and posters. We especially encouraged operators of local networks and early career scientists to join this meeting. 102 participants from 26 countries attended the workshop.
