On 1–2 October 2024, conference of scientists from the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the CAS, the Institute of Physiology of the CAS and the Polish Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology was held at the Conference Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Liblice Castle. The aim of the meeting of these three leading scientific institutions was to deepen existing relationships, find new opportunities for collaboration and discuss ways of obtaining joint international grant projects. The face-to-face meetings, presentations and discussions allowed more than five dozen scientists to better assess where their respective research overlaps and where collaborations could be developed, which was one of the main objectives of the event.nThis work was supported by the National Institute for Research of Metabolic and Cardiovascular Diseases (Program EXCELES, ID Project No. LX22NPO5104) funded by the European Union–Next Generation EU.
