Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The Urgonian facies is present in three tectonic units of Albania. Its deposits appear in the Sazani Zone, the Albanian Alps Zone and the Mirdita Zone. In the Sazani Zone (western part of the country) the Barremian-Aptian deposits in the Urgonian faciesare represented by biogenic and oolitic limestones alternated with dolomites. In the Albanian Alps Zone (northern part of the country) these deposits are represented by limestones and dolomites, whereas in the Mirdita Zone (eastern part of the country),in the base of the Barremia-Aptian, conglomerates and conglomeratic limestones are present, followed by the platform limestones. The fossil content of these limestones consist of orbitolinids, rudists, algae, nerineacean gastropods etc. In the Mirdita zone, unlike the other two zones there is an interruption in the sedimentation between the Neocomian and Barremian, as a result of general uplift and deformation of the area caused by the Mirditean orogeny.
