An attempt to put a database of international and regional stratigraphic units, together with definitions, ages, GSSPs, and other relevant information on the web. For stratigraphic boundaries it serves its age (updated automatically on every release of the official ICS' International Geologic Time Scale), definition, GSSP, ICS stage that contains the boundary. For stratigraphic units it serves its start/end ages, duration, predecessor and successor unit, ICS stage(s) that contain the unit, and all stratigraphic units that contain (cross) the specified time level. The database is open-source. License is GPL-3.
