Název v původním jazyce
Impact of global climate change on transmissivity of shallow hard-rock aquifers
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The quantification of transmissivity changes due to the drop of infiltration in crystalline massif is main target of this paper. Two mountainous catchments in Šumava and Krušné Hory were instrumented with monitoring wells and water levels and temperatures were gathered hourly as well as meteorological data and stream flows. Major differences between infiltration and drainage areas were observed in water level decline as the effect of prolonged periods of drought. The data served for designing and calibration of hydraulic models of individual catchments. Data on fluctuation of groundwater levels in the catchment provide evidence that transmissivity in hard rocks is not only spatially, but also temporarily dependent property, i.e. the transmissivity in hard rocks is to be considered a variable not only in space but also in time.
