Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

Funerary range with more than 700 graves in the vicinity of the Prague Castle (Bohemia, Prague-Hradčany) was investigated by I. Borkovský in the 30s of the last century; the research has not been evaluated by the author. Now, site can be characterized asa complex settlement stratigraphy from Middle Ages, that was heavily and repeatedly disturbed by burials during Early and High Middle Ages, by Modern burials and also by development in the Modern Period. The new evaluation shows that the cemetery represents the most extensive medieval burial range within Prague's historical core. There was obtained a large collection of Late 'Hillfort' Period funerary equipment. There was proved a general trend toward the transformation of the originally extensive linear Early Medieval burial grounds into a superimposed (Early?) Medieval burial grounds, typical for medieval church cemeteries. Already the first step of the transformation - the displacement of burials into an area of intensive settlement
