In diesem Artikel sind die Ergebnisse der Ausgrabung auf der Vorburg des Vladař publiziert. Herausragend sind die stratifizierten Befunde in feuchtem Milieu, die den Vladař zu einem bedeutenden Fundort machen. Die dendrochronologische Analyse der hölzernen Konstruktionselemente aus den Becken bringt die Datierung der Hölzer in der erste Hälfte des 5. Jahrhunderts. Die Schlüsselstellung nahmen paläoökologische Methoden ein, für deren Anwendung der Fundort sehr gute Bedingungen bietet.

The work provides information on the results of an excavation of well-preserved cisterns in the suburb of Vladař hillfort. The dendrochronological dating of the oak beams from the timber retaining wall of the cistern places the structure in the first half of the 5th century BC. The interdisciplinary study of the site utilises the broadest possible spectrum of approaches and methods. A key role is played by palaeoenvironmental methods, the application of which is enabled by the exceptionally favourable conditions at the site.
