Glass artefacts, such as beads, vessels, windowpanes and others, represent an important part of early medieval material culture. This paper provides an overview of the development of glass artefacts in Bohemia from the end of the 5th century to the 10th century in terms of types of artefacts, types of beads and the chemical composition of glass and trace impacts of local and global changes in glass-making and glass-working.
