An intensive, week-long summer school was conducted, focusing on the specialised field of 3D documentation of archaeological artefacts and historical monuments through the application of photogrammetry and structured-light scanning methods. This initiative, co-organised by the Institute of Archaeology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Brno, and Prague, incorporated a structured curriculum that integrated essential theoretical instruction with focused practical workshops. Participants, primarily individuals at the introductory skill level, were successfully trained in the creation, processing, and management of high-fidelity digital twins. These techniques serve crucial functions in advancing archaeological research, facilitating effective heritage conservation, and supporting public outreach efforts. The primary deliverable was the successful acquisition of proficiency in contemporary 3D documentation techniques by all attendees.
