Der Beitrag befasst sich mit dem Prozess der Bildung neuer Verwaltungsgrenzen in Böhmen nach dem Ende der Patrimonialverwaltung. Das Augenmerk liegt auf den einzelnen Faktoren, die den Verlauf der Verwaltungsgrenzen auf der untersten Ebene bestimmten und auf die nachfolgenden Verwaltungsreformen in den 1850er und 1860er Jahren.
