Dieser Aufsatz behandelt die antihabsburgische Rebellion (1309), der Aufstand des Krakauer Vogtes Albert gegen Władysław I. Ellenlang (1311-1312) und das bewaffnete Auftreten der Ältstädter Bürger gegen den böhmischen König Johann den Blinden (1319). Alle drei Ereignisse haben manchen gemeinsamen Nenner. Zunächst sind in allen Fällen als Urheber die Elitenschichten der Stadtbevölkerung, das sogenannte Patriziat, zu nennen. Es gilt auch, dass die Aufstände gegen den Landesherrn gerichtet waren und als entscheidender Beweggrund die Unzufriedenheit dieser Schichten mit den geltenden Zuständen zu betrachten ist.

This article discusses the rebellion of Vienna burghers against the Habsburgs (1309), Cracow uprising of the bailiff Albert against Władysław I the Elbow-high (1311-1312) and Old Town fight of the armed burghers against the Czech king John of Luxembourg(1319). All three events had several common denominators. First, as the originator can be considered an elite social class of the urban population, called patriciate. They were directed against landlord and the main motivation of these social classes represents dissatisfaction with existing conditions in the country.
