Ce travail essaie de montrer que Levinas accomplit (tout en la pluralisant) la signifiance de l'un-pour-l'autre par d'autres traits structurels : l' '? sens unique', l' '? partir de soi', le 'malgré soi', l''autre dans le m?me', le 'je est un autre', le'pour rien' et le 'par l'autre'. Ladite 'entrée du tiers' articule la signifiance éthique avec la signification : le probl?me est de savoir si elle constitue le saut d'un Dire intraduisible dans le Dit ou bien une modalité de la déduction du Dit du Dire.C'est de la question du rapport entre signifiance éthique et langage qu'il s'agit in fine : parler de l'avant de la signifiance éthique est impossible sans ?tre déj? rattrapé par l'apr?s de la signification linguistique, qui, elle, est toujours déj? interrompue par l'apr?s de l'apr?s de la rupture du sens. Par conséquent, le discours philosophique est un discours interrompu.

The book attempts to retrace the course of the ethical signifying in Otherwise than Being. Although the main characteristic feature of this movement is the for-the-other, we show that Levinas accomplishes this movement by means of other features: uniquesense, starting from the self, despite oneself, the other in the same, I am an other, for nothing and by the other. The borderline feature one-for-all-the others articulates ethics with justice. The last question is the relation between ethical signifying and language: to speak about the 'before' of the ethical signifying is impossible without the after of the linguistic signifying, which is always already interrupted by the 'after the after' of the breaking of sense. Philosophical discourse then is always interrupted.
