The text introduces the African dilemmas of a multilateral and cosmopolitan world which authors analyse in their book on Afropolitanism. It deals with four interrelated thematic areas. The critical founding of the topic in philosophically based local and global analyses, the formulation of the positive and negative characteristics of the topic by explanation of complex cultural frameworks, the specification of the topic by case studies of strong power of politics, economics, and demographics, and of the soft power of language and literature.
