Im 14. und 15. Jahrhundert besaßen die Prager Bürger mehrere hundert Landgüter in der Umgebung der Stadt. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf verschiedenen Fragen im Zusammenhang mit dem Besitz von Landgütern, dem rechtlichen Rahmen, den ältesten Dokumenten aus dem 13. Jahrhunderts, das Zeugnis des ältesten erhaltenen Gerichtsbuches der Prager Altstadt aus den Jahren 1351 bis 1367, die Entwicklung des bürgerlichen Landbesitzes während der Hussitenrevolution (1419-1434) und ein Vergleich mit der Situation in ausgewählten ausländischen Städten.

In the 14th and 15th centuries, Prague Burghers owned several hundred country estates in the city’s surroundings. The focus is on various issues related to the possession of country estates, the legal framework, the oldest documents from the 13th century, information on the purchase and sale of country estates in the mid-14th century based on the testimony of the oldest surviving court book of the Old Town of Prague from 1351 to 1367, the development of the possession of burgher country estates during the Hussite Revolution (1419-1434), and a comparison with the situation in selected foreign cities.
