Achte interdisziplinäre Konferenz des Forschungszentrums Höfe und Residenzen im Mittelalter des Historischen Instituts der Akademie der Wissenschaften der Tschechischen Republik (tätig vom Jahre 2013) wird sich auf den Vergleich von Lösungsansätzen für Residenzfragen, insbesondere in Mitteleuropa und den deutschen Ländern des Mittelalters und der Frühen Neuzeit konzentrieren. Das Konferenztreffen gliedert sich in insgesamt drei Haupthemen – Forschungsbereiche: Siedlungsnetzwerke in der Landschaft, Soziale und Räumliche Ordnungen, Räume höfischen Lebens. Auf der Konferenz werden auch Vertreter von drei Forschungsprojekten zu Hof- und Residenzfragen sprechen, d. h. des Forschungszentrums Höfe und Residenzen im Mittelalter des Historischen Instituts der Akademie der Wissenschaften der Tschechischen Republik, und des Projekts zur territorialen Aufschwung Corona regni Bohemiae / Krone des Königreichs Böhmen des Instituts für Tschechische Geschichte der Philosophischen Fakultät der Karlsuniversität Prag und des Projekts Residenzstädte im Alten Reich (1300–1800) der Akademie der Wissenschaften zu Göttingen. Die Vertreter in genannter Forschungsprojekte sind zugleich die Organisatoren dieser Tagung.

Eighth interdisciplinary Conference of the Research on Courts and Residences in the Middle Ages of the Historical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (active from 2013) will focus on the comparison of solutions to residential issues, especially in Central Europe and the German countries in the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Age. Representatives from three research projects on court and residence issues will also speak at the conference, mentioned Research on Courts and Residences in the Middle Ages and the Project on territorial development Corona regni Bohemiae / Crown of the Kingdom of Bohemia of the Institute of Czech History of the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University in Prague and the Project Residential Cities in the Holy Empire Roman (1300–1800) of the Academy of Sciences in Göttingen. The representatives of the named research projects are also the organizers of this Conference.
