El trabajo se enfoca en la labor de la Seguridad del Estado checoslovaca en Bogotá y los contactos entre los comunistas checoslovacos y colombianos, sobre todo en su reflexión de los problemas entre cubanos y chinos en Colombia y el desarrollo del movimiento comunista en los años 1960. Mediante documentos de archivos checos, el estudio analiza el interés de los checoslovacos por la penetración de la influencia castrista y maoísta en este país suramericano e intenta ofrecer la respuesta a la pregunta de cómo percibió Praga informaciones sobre los vínculos entre China, Cuba y Colombia en el periodo estudiado.

This study focuses on the work of the Czechoslovak State Security in Bogotá and contacts between Czechoslovak and Colombian communists, especially in their reflection of Cuban and Chinese entanglements in Colombia and the development of the communist movement in the 1960s. Using documents from Czech archives, the study analyzes the interest of the Czechoslovaks in the penetration of Castroist and Maoist influence in Colombia and attempts to provide an answer to the question of how Prague perceived information about the links between China, Cuba and Colombia in the studied period.
