Burglars: Territory and Strategy

The following paper introduces a study of burglars´ territory and strategy. Based upon the theories of spatial behavior of offenders, the concept of place-attachment and map sketches, the burglars are divided according to the attachment to their territories, which influences their area of offending as presented by the sketches. Whith regards to strategy, military strategies were introduced in order to explain the planned direct and spontaneous indirect burgling strategies.
