Validation of the accuracy of automatic geodetic monitoring data for research into the vertical displacement of the ground surface caused by hard coal longwall mining
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This article presents the applicability of Automatic Geodetic Monitoring (AGM) for measuring surface displacements in an area affected by deep mining. The accuracy of the interpreted data was investigated by comparing the height differences determined from the AGM results with the reference height differences obtained by precise levelling. By analyzing the results, an optimal interpretation of the raw data was proposed. Our research findings can be classified into two levels. The first is the verification of the reliability of the AGM measuring system in the undermined area to monitor surface movements in the period after the mines’ closure. The second is the practical use of the interpreted data from the AGM measuring system to evaluate the dynamicsnof the subsidence troughs formation. This issue is presented in the case study area of the CSM Mine, the last deep underground coal mine in the Czech Republic.
