Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Der Beitrag befasst sich mit den Vergangenheitsformen im älteren Obersorbischen im Vergleich mit dem Alttschechischen. Anhand von sechs Bibelübersetzungen wird ihre Distribution in den beiden westslawischen Srpachen untersucht und dabei hauptsächlich aufdie Interferenz des Deutschen im Sorbischen aufmerksam gemacht. Die Frage nach dem Einfluss der Kontaktsprache Deutsch auf das Sorbische lässt sich allerdings an den Bibelübersetzungen nur schwer klären, da hier die Übersetzungsvorlagen bei der Tempuswahl eine zu große Rolle gespielt haben. Trotzdem ist deutlich erkennbar, dass Aorist und Imperfekt im Alttschechischen bereits am Verschwinden sind, während das synthetische Präteritum im älteren Sorbischen in erzählenden Passagen das dominierende Tempusist.

The article deals with past tense forms in older Upper Sorbian compared with Old Czech. Using six translations of the bible, it examines its distribution in both western Slavonic languages and draws attention in particular to the interference of German in Sorbian. The question of the influence of the contact language, German, can, however, only be explained with difficulty using the bible translations, as the models used here for the translations have played too large a role in the choice of tense. Nevertheless, it can be clearly seen that the aorist and imperfect tenses are already on the point of disappearing in Old Czech, while the synthetic preterite is the dominant tense in narrative passages of older Sorbian.
