On the scheme of 48 statements (Feierabend et al.) indicating the aspects of political culture - cognitions, evaluations and affects- referring to the political system as a whole, input, output objects and self in politics the model for identification with particular type of political culture is developed. The representative sample of the Czech Republic and the representative samples of four regions (not equal to administrative unit) were subjected to the interviewing in autumn 2000. A sample of circa 4000 questionnaires was collected. The contribution presents some findings related to political culture in the Czech Republic.
