Drei kolorierten Zeichnungen aus der Plannsammlung des Schwarzenberger Archivs in Cesky Krumlov (Krumau) erfassen Dekoration der Vorderfront des heute nicht mehr existierenden Schwarzenberger städtischen Palais in Wien. Auf der Grundlage der ikonographischen Analyse, Archiv-Studien und des Vergleiches mit zeitgenössischen gedruckten Beschreibungen wurden diese Zeichnungen identifiziert. Es handelt sich um Entwurfszeichnungen festlicher Dekoration anlässlich der Geburt Erzherzogs Joseph (1741) und Erzherzogs Karl (1745) - der ersten Söhne der Kaiserin Maria Theresia. Der dritte Entwurf hängt mit der Feier der Wahl Franz von Lothringen zum deutschen Kaiser (1745) zusammen. Der Autor von all diesen "Caster gratulationis" war der Wiener Hofarchitekt und Dekorateur Andrea Altomonte (1699-1780), der von Schwarzenberger oft engagiert wurde.

Three coloured drawings, from a collection of projects of the Schwarzenberg Archive in Český Krumlov, depicting ceremonial decoration of a nowadays nonexistent facade of Schwarzenberg Palace. The drawings were identified on a basis of an iconographical analysis, study of archival documents and comparison with printed descriptions from the same period. Two drawings are drafts of ceremonial decorations dedicated to the occasion of birth of archduke Josef (1741) and Charles (1745) - Maria Theresia´s firsttwo sons. The third drawing is connected with a celebration of election of Francis I as a Holy Roman Emperor (1745). The author of these "caster gratulationis" was Andrea Altomonte (1699-1780), a court architect and decorator in Wien, who was frequentlyemployed by the House of Schwarzenberg.
