Der Katalogeintrag zur Handschrift ist Teil eines Katalogs, der unter kunsthistorischen Gesichtspunkten erstellt wurde. Es enthält eine ausführliche Beschreibung des Objekts, gibt einen Überblick über die bisherige Forschung und bringt eine neue Bewertung der malerischen Ausstattung des prächtig illuminierten Missale. Einige Indizien deuten darauf hin, dass die Handschrift ursprünglich nicht direkt für Sbinko Zajic von Hasenburg hergestellt wurde. Das zeigen zum Beispiel die zusätzlich hinzugefügte Hasenburgwappen.

The entry for the manuscript is a part of a catalogue that was prepared from an explicitly art-historical perspective. It contains a detailed description of the object, an overview of previous research and a new assessment of the decoration of the luxury missal. Several indications suggest that the manuscript was not produced directly for Sbinko Zajic von Hasenburg, as shown, for example, by the Hasenburg coat of arms added somewhat later.
