Der Aufsatz thematisiert die Samantisierung der Landschaft in fiktionalen Repräsentationen der Vertreibung der Deutschen aus der Tschechoslowakei (1945 – 1947). Von der Unterscheidung zwischen der indexalischen und symbolischen Funktion der Raumreferenzen präsentiert der Aufsatz vier spezifische semantische Aufladungen der Grenzregionen in der Vertreibungsliteratur. Erstens konzentriert er sich auf die Repräsentationen der Grenzregion als eines utopischen und revolutionären Raumes, in dem ein neue soziale Ordnung gestiftet werden kann. Zweitens konzentriert sich der Aufsatz auf die Repräsentationen der Grenzregionen, die im Kontrast zu den ersten den Raum als Dystopie darstellen. So wie im ersten Fall wird die Semantisierung nicht nur auf Grund der Figuren, sondern und ihrer Darstellung, sondern auch auf Grund des Plots der Narrative: der Anfang und das Ende der Narrative wird meistens als Transgression der symbolischen Szene der Region und so auch narrativ markiert. Drittens beschäftigt sich der Aufsatz mit den Repräsentationen der Vertreibung, die die Grenzregione als einen sakralen Raum konstruieren, wo der Verfall der moralischen Werte, der religiösen und traditionellen Gesellschaft paradoxerweise zu einer Epiphanie der Anwesenheit Gottes führt. Schliesslich fokussiert der Aufsatz auf die literarischen Texte, die die Landschaft als Allegorie des Traumas darstellt, in der die Symbolen der Ruinen und Ausgraben eine entscheidende Rolle spielen.

The paper deals with the semantic of landscape in the fictional representations of expulsion of Germans from Czechoslovakia (1945 – 1947). On the basis of distinction between indexical function of references to places and symbolical function of references to places the paper presents four specific semantisations of border regions in the literature about expulsion. Firstly, it focuses on the representations of border regions as utopian and revolutionary space, where the new social order can be created. Secondly, the paper focuses on the representations of border regions, which represent in contrast to the first case the border regions as dystopia. As in the first case, the semantisation of the landscape is not constructed just by the character of the figures and their description, but also by the plot of stories: the beginning and end of plot are usually configured as transgression of a symbolic scene of the border regions and so narratively marked. Thirdly, I deal with the representations of expulsion, which project a vision of border regions as sacral space, where the destruction and decline of moral values, religiousness and original society paradoxically lead to epiphany of God’s presence. Finally I focus on the literature texts using the landscape as an allegory of trauma, which is presented by the symbols of ruins and excavations.
