Der Beitrag konzentriert sich auf die Analyse der Darstellung der Figur Milotas von Dědice in der Epoche der Vormärzzeit. Es wird dabei auf die Diskrepanz der Entwicklungslinien in der österreichischen, deutschböhmischen und tschechischen Überlieferungstradition des Stoffes hingewiesen, die mit der fortschreitenden Nationalisierung der Gesellschaft der Vormärzzeit kontextualisiert werden.
