This contribution summarises results of the project focused on a comparison of the pollutant concentration in the fog/cloud water originated in two industrial regions of the Czech Republic with different atmospheric load. During the project the samples of the fog/cloud water from various localities were collected and analysed. The number of samples, collected at the mountain observatories Milesovka and Churanov, permitted the preliminary comparison of the regions. Mean values of pollutant concentration,concentration of pollutants in dependence on a wind direction as well as on a sector from which the air particles were transported have been examined. The article also shows differences in concentration of pollutants that are contained in the samples offog/cloud water when compared with the water from rime. The results follow from the fog and rime measurements at the Milesovka.
