The impact of the masonry temperature during restoration to the thermal stress of historic masonry
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
One of the usual defects of historical masonry is missing joint mortar. New mortar has to be inserted into the joints during repair. This paper is focused on the dependence of thermal stress in historic heterogeneous masonry on the temperature during repair. The specification of heterogeneous masonry means that the mortar and stones have different values of thermal expansion coefficient. For this purpose the three-dimensional numerical finite element model of masonry was created and was loaded by the extreme climatic effects during the ?reference year in Prague Castle, Czech Republic. The analysed interval of temperatures during the restoration starts at the temperature of 5°C and ends at 30°C. The best temperature during restoration is not an averageair temperature during the year, it is approximately the average value of the maximal and minimal surface temperature during the year. In the paper the south western insolated wall, of Prague Castel, between exterior and interior was anal
