This contribution is focused on the investigation of the carbonation reaction in lime paste samples produced from two different types of lime: lime putty manufactured in a traditional kiln and two commercial lime hydrates. The carbonation was studied on the lime paste samples aged for various times in a climatic chamber under the controlled temperature and relative humidity.
