The Management Plan is developed and implemented as part of the management system operating in a given place/country. The management plan in the legal systems of the monuments protection is not an obligatory document. The management plan is a long-term strategic document that should cover all the basic issues related to the protection and management of a given site. The management plan should be treated as a tool that should serve to optimize conservation activities, but also as a document which indicates ways to manage, use and develop a site and its use for public purposes.
