The durability of the concrete buildings depends on their resistance againstpenetration of various aggressive substances into concrete porous structure. This fact is valid commonly for the reinforced as well as non reinforced concrete.The thickness of carbonated layer is an important indicator assessing degree of deterioration of the structure. The thickness may be determined using different ways.Determination of depth of carbonation was performed on panel buildings of different design-type, age and indifferent localities
