Measuring of Thermal and Mechanical Properties of Unburnt Clay Bricks

Within the context of this research, mechanical and thermal properties of unburnt clay bricks (pressed by a mechanical press) has been studied. Unburnt clay is conventional, fully recyclable material unexacting production energy. During the measurement,the specimens were exposed to the atmosphere with various relative humidity. Measured values show, that the unburnt clay is in certain parameters like compressive strenght or thermal conductivity comparable with currently used materials like bricks or gas concrete
