In this work, there are summarized presently generally employed experimental methods for investigation of hygrothermal behavior of building materials themselves or of building materials systems. Further a newly developed measuring and simulating semi-scale system for investigation of hygrothermal performance of newly developed building materials and their multi-layered systems in the conditions very close to reality is designed and described.
