Typical aspects of concrete constructions, are the failures due to appearance of cracks during construction. This shows lower quality of the structure, leading to lower durability and often limited functional use of the building. Volume changes in the initial stage of concrete setting, are a source of cracks, which deteriorate the concrete structure. Our research is aimed at designing the composition of concrete to make it resistant to the appearance of microcracks at the stage of setting and establishing of effects of individual factors on the magnitude of volume changes in concrete.
