The authors are engaged in development of adaptive analysis of RC concrete frames using the microplane model. In this analysis some parts of frame are modelled by 3D finite elements. Therefore several concepts of three-dimensional analysis of a reinforced concrete beams were tested. Different finite elements and computational schemes were implemented into FEM code and results of numerical verification have been introduced in this work.
