Implementation of SBTool in the Czech Republic - case studies

The poster is focused on the assessment of several buildings in the Czech Republic using the new Czech tool SBToolCZ. The tool is based upon the SBTool methodology (iiSBE) and Sustainable building Challenge. Despite the original SBTool which is based onthe MS Excel sheets, the new tool is being developed in MS Access. This fact enables to use the database structure, so that it is possible to keep one data model and description of the building together with more assessment structures (as well as more variants of one building) together in one file. Another advantage is that different language sets will be available for one tool without translating whole script of the program. Further development of such a tool is a big challenge, but when finished, it could be powerful universal framework for assessments performed worldwide.
