This article describes our intention to create and verify simulation model of experimental model of stratified storage tank located in our laboratory. This computer model serves for mutual comparison between simulation and experiment, during preparationof experiments, so we can predict storage tank behavior as well as replace of repeating basic experiments. Finally students may use this model for their work. The storage tank has rectangular shape. Tests in laboratory conditions are based on combinationof elementary processes such as heating and gradual cooling. Main object was focused on withdrawal from outlets in different high, so we can observe behavior in water layers in the tank. Results show difference in temperature decrease of inferior layers. Simulation results give slower reaction in a layer temperature change than measurement. This implies lower temperature difference between adjacent layers in simulation results than measurement results.
