A parameter identification study of the problem of coupled water and salt transport in porous media is presented in the paper. In the experimental part, water and chloride concentration profiles in cement mortar samples subjected to one-side chloride solution penetration are measured as well as chloride binding isotherm for the studied material. On the basis of assessed data, computational inverse analysis of experimentally determined profiles is performed.
