The WRG technology deals with welding of concrete reinforcing bars and it works as a substitute to the standard bended transversal reinforcement. Welded reinforcement grids (WRG) technology features many positives without major disadvantages. During my analysis I found some negatives. Many of them were connected with inconsistencies between Czech and American standards, when I tried to adapt this technology in Europe. For my analysis I've made an application, which can calculate supposed behavior and resistance of the welded joints.
