Development of the research method in hybrid hydraulic - Exploitation of Aerated Water Flow in Hydrotechnical Works
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Aerated water flow as a hydraulic phenomenon occurs in many water management works. The paper is focused on the description of one situation where this phenomenon occurs where aeration is exploited to dissipate water energy on spillways of hydraulic works. These may differ by their layout and parameters affecting the resulting dissipating effect. Several physical hydraulic models have been assembled in the Water Management Laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU in Prague in the last years with the aim of enhancing the precision of hydraulic computations of stepped chutes.
