Light Falling Weight Deflectometer with Additional Geophone
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The Light Falling Weight Deflectometer (LFWD) is a mobile impact load device usually used for the measurement of bearing capacity and the degree of compaction in the railway substructure and permanent way. It allows easy manipulation and the load test principle provides results in a very short time. Because of its universal application, the LFWD can be used for a more detailed analysis of sleeper subsoil. The implementation of additional geophones on the load plate surface, which provides extra information from the movement of the plate after impact loading, appears perspective. The aim is to take advantage of the high-quality records of the sleeper subsoil response to the applied impact loading. The results and the evaluation of experiments carried out in an experimental box where sleeper subsoil in 1:1 scale was laid are presented in the article. By using a modified LFWD, deflections after impact load are measured and dynamic properties of sleeper subsoil are derived from them. The e
