The paper describes the new methodology of measuring long-term creep of polymer fibres step-by-step. According to the new testing procedure the first tests were carried out on representative types of polymer fibres commonly used in the Czech Republic toverify the usability of the new method. From the first results it is evident that the new testing procedure gives relevant results and can be performed in standard equipped laboratories.
