NA.2.13 Based on author's investigation the in-plane membrane strain at mid-plane of the plate during buckling are restricted to 0.2 %. The respective formula derived by author is presented. In case of outer fibers the Eurocode values concerning global principal strains (less then 5 %) are retained.
