The present paper is focused on assessment of slender concrete columns by a method based on nominal curvature. An algorithm for determination of a moment-curvature diagram used for an assessment of concrete columns is given. The calculation method is verified on examples of concrete columns. The results obtained by the method are compared with the experimental data and with the results given by finite element analysis.
