The paper is focused on comparing the results of assessment of mechanical properties of timber by visual assessment, two grading machines, three devices for measuring in-situ and destructive tests. The mos important result is comaprison of static and dynamic modulus of elasticity of timber, and further comparison of strength classes obtained by different measuring methods.
