Modern documentation methods in cultural heritage use nowadays-common laser scanning or digital photogrammetry. In many cases it is necessary to combine both of these methods. As a case project, a valuable Romanesque church of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist, near Prague, was documented. Remnants of an older building were discovered under the floor, but it was not possible to document some parts and structures using a laser scanner because they had small distances and involved small hidden areas.Some parts were only possible to measure using modern methods of photogrammetry or computer vision (image based modeling, SfM ? structure from motion), which serve point clouds too. The combining of both methods created the complex and textured model. The second part of this project was the documentation of the interior space of the church with original frescos. Some parts with historical paintings cannot be documented in photo plan form because they are on a curved surface (apse). The p
