The report is focused on an experimental assessment of Manning's coefficient (hydraulic roughness coefficient) of the bituminous-based waterproof geomembrane COLETANCHE ES 2 under steady uniform and non-uniform subcritical flow conditions in prismatic canals. In order to obtain results with high level of certainty seventeen experiments with different flow conditions have been carried out at the Water Management Experimental Centre followed by robust evaluation procedure allowing for probabilistic distribution of Manning's coefficient to be gained.
