Measurement of process characteristics is activity which has a big importance during the management of this process. We are not able to manage and evaluate process without measurement. But we need not only to measure, but model the measurement as a part of complex process model. Behavioral approaches to process modeling, which are used most frequently, has very limited possibilities of model measurement and evaluation. This is a big limit for their usage in real praxis. This paper deals with this problem and proposes a solution of modeling of the state based milestones. State based milestones can be understood as defined gates where some characteristics of process are measured.
